This Rolex watch is in great vintage condition. The case is in good condition with normal signs of wear; it has been polished. The red-back Pepsi bezel is in great, honest condition and has faded throughout with wear. This watch has retained its correct date wheel with closed 6s and hooked 7s.The dial is in great condition throughout with light wear/ patina around the edge. The lume plots on the dial have aged to an attractive and even pale yellow/ greenish color which is not uncommon. The lume plots at 11 and 12 both have a small divot in the top of the plot. The hands have developed patina and the lume in the hands have aged to a similar color to the lume on the dial. The minutes hand has a spot of lume repair towards the base. The Jubilee bracelet is in great condition overall with normal wear and some stretch between the links which is very common for this style bracelet.
The GMT Master is Rolex’s signature pilot’s watch, complete with dual-time capabilities. It came to market in 1955, with ref. 1675 following shortly after in 1959. It’s one of the most sought-after vintage Rolex watches on the secondary market because it’s instantly recognizable with its 24-hour bezel and dedicated GMT hand. The Rolex 1675 was also notably the first GMT Master to use crown guards. Rolex initially used glossy dials in the 1675 until around 1966 and switched to matte dials.
This circa 1967 example is in overall lovely condition with it's beautifully aged lume and perfectly aged "Pepsi" bezel. Collectors refer to this dial variation as a Mark I "Long E." When looking at the "Rolex" text on the dial the "E" has a longer central bar (same length as the top and bottom ones) and that is where this nickname comes from. Rolex made many iterations of the GMT over the years and this watch has a few additional interesting details to note. This watch has a "thin case" which is approximately 12.7mm and Rolex did this until approximately 1967. This watch also has the correct date-wheel for the time period with the closed 6's and 9s as well as hooked 7s and it has the "small" GMT hand. We have seen these early matte 1675s with the small and large GMT hands and its amazing how the small one can really change the athestic of the watch. We love how that detail was carried over from the glossy examples.

Well represented watch in excellent condition. Super fast shipping. My second purchase from Bobs but not my last. Their watches seem to be in better condition than many of the others I’ve seen online.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.
Quick e-mail responses, systematic
I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
