This Rolex watch is in vintage condition with patina present on the dial, hands and hour markers due to natural exposure.
Pre-owned Tudor Oyster Prince ref 7909. Tudor made many different variations of this collection over the years. The "Tudor Oyster-Price 34" we are offering here has a bunch of note worthy characteristics. First off, at 12 o'clock it features a large applied Rose logo, which collectors refer to as a "Big Rose." The next thing that sticks out is the cross hair in the center of the dial, splitting it in four quadrants and making it more visually interesting. After that we notice the words "Self Winding" in an upward arch orientation, collectors would refer to this as a "smiley" because of its resemblance to, you guessed it, a smile. This is a feature that Tudor brought back with some of its more modern offerings.
In addition to the neat dial characteristics, the dial has aged to a warm cream color that can look almost peach colored in certain lights.
I wanted a vintage watch, but I didn't like the price of the Rolex models available. This watch fits the bill. It is just what I wanted and at a much more affordable price.
