The Rolex Day-Date 40 President's watch in platinum is a contemporary take on the iconic status watch. Rare 950 platinum is forged in-house, creating an impeccable precious metal finish that is more than deserving of the prestigious Day-Date name. The ref. 228206 also includes a stunning blue dial iced-out with baguette-cut diamonds, each of which is carefully selected for its clarity and quality and is then hand-set into precious metal surrounds by an expert Rolex gemologists. When the Day-Date debuted in the 1950s, it featured a 36mm case. Today, the collection includes a 40mm option with a smooth bezel and a classic semi-circular link bracelet. This edition also includes the line's standard water-resistance up to 100 meters as well as a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a chronometer-rated calibre 3255 movement with a 70-hour power reserve. This feature set makes the platinum Rolex Day-Date more than just a special occasion wristwatch, it's also a reliable everyday companion that you can wear on your wrist with confidence anywhere you roam.
