Pre-owned Rolex Datejust ref 1600 (1965) displays the time on a fascinating champagne "Pie Pan" dial, named so after the gently sloped edges around the dial's perimeter. As a product of the mid-1960s, the dial is decorated with retro stick hour markers and long, tapered "Dauphine" hands, each with Tritium luminescent material. This model also sports a Sigma distinction at the bottom of the dial, a notation used in some vintage luxury watches to signify the hour markers and hands are made from precious metal. Ref. 1600 is a two-tone model with a handsome stainless steel and yellow gold finish. The elegant 34mm case is surrounded by a fluted bezel and features a waterproof screw-down crown and a self-winding movement. The Jubilee bracelet pairs perfectly with the case, creating an elegant and sophisticated aesthetic often associated with a renowned Rolex dress watch.
