The Rolex jewelry watch gleams with perfection
The Rolex Pearlmaster is the brand’s collection of jewelry watches for those ladies looking for a little more shine and sparkle. First launched in 1992, the Pearlmaster was actually unveiled as a revamped and larger version of the highly popular Lady Datejust.
Pearlmaster Watches
As an expression of both a piece of jewelry and a timepiece, the Pearlmaster is exclusively crafted in 18k gold and always set with gems. The gold variations include white, yellow, and Everose, while the gems used are diamonds, sapphire, or rubies. The gems adorn the dial, case, bezel, or bracelet, and can range from just a chic sprinkling of diamonds to an extravagant full pavé.
Variety is the beauty of the Pearlmaster collection with an impressive assortment of dial colors and materials, as well as index styles and configurations. The Rolex Pearlmaster watches are available in three case sizes: 29mm, 34mm, and as of just last year, 39mm.
Rolex’s collection of jeweled timepieces is named after its bracelet, the Pearlmaster bracelet, which was created specifically for the line. The solid gold bracelets feature rounded five-piece links for a sophisticated and feminine style that gives the collection its distinct and graceful appeal. Naturally, the bracelets are equipped with the iconic concealed Crownclasp.
Pearlmaster 80359 vs 80319
The distinguishing feature of the Pearlmaster ref. 80319 is the gem studded gold bezel, with 12 of the finest white diamonds, while the ref. 80299 pieces boast a beautiful fully diamond encrusted gold bezel with 32 brilliant-cut gems. Both the ref. 80319 and the ref. 80299 are still part of the current collection from Rolex. The lavish Pearlmaster 80359, however, has been discontinued and is identifiable by its double row of pavé diamonds on the bezel, diamond set lugs and diamond indexes on its dial. All three of these references are elegantly sized at 29mm.
Ticking at the heart of the Pearlmaster collection is the proprietary Rolex Caliber 2235 automatic mechanical movement. Like all of Rolex’s modern movements, the Cal. 2235 is a Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified, meaning that in addition to passing stringent in-house tests, it has also been certified by C.O.S.C. The perpetual movement powers the hour, minute, seconds, and instantaneous date functions to the watch. The instantaneous date refers to the date instantly changing to the next day at midnight, rather than gradually changing over the course of a few hours.
Protecting the beautiful face of the Pearlmaster is a scratch resistant sapphire crystal affixed with the famous Cyclops lens to magnify the date window at 3 o’clock. The signature Oyster case of the collection is outfitted with a screw-down crown with the Twinlock system for water resistance of 330 feet deep.
An ultra glamorous family of jeweled watches for her, the Pearlmaster collection from Rolex is ideal for any woman who seeks out the best.
