Pre-Owned Rolex Oysterquartz Datejust 17013
The 1970s saw a sharp increase in demand for quartz timepieces. With interest among collectors for mechanical watches waning, Swiss watchmaking companies, such as Rolex, developed their own Quartz models to remain competitive. The OysterQuartz Datejust is a product of that era and pairs the classic style of the Datejust that avid pre-owned Rolex collectors know and love with a quartz movement and an exclusive bracelet. The ref. 17013 is the two-tone variant that pairs stainless steel and 18 karat yellow gold with a matching champagne dial. Similar to the Datejust, the automatically changing date display is located at the 3-hour marker. The most notable feature, besides the quartz movement, of course, is the unique integrated bracelet which wears on a 36mm case with more sharply angled lugs.
