The Patek Philippe Aquanaut took the market by storm in 1997, featuring a design inspired by the Gerald Genta masterpiece, the Nautilus. Iconic design elements include a rounded case like the Nautilus and a beautifully embossed dial. Discontinued Patek ref. 5065 is a desirable stainless steel edition of the series, complete with a sharp black embossed dial, luminous Arabic hour markers, and the Aquanaut collection's trademark "Tropical" composite black strap secured by a Patek butterfly clasp. The example you see here was produced sometime in the mid-2000s. It also features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a date mechanism at 3 o'clock, automatic winding, and some typical signs of wear, as described in the condition examination listed above.
Great watch and looks even better in person. Shipping was fast and arrived the next day.
