The Panerai Luminor Marina PAM 422 is elegant in its simplicity. The large, 1950s-inspired cushion case and large crown guard are presented in AISI 316L stainless steel and wear on a beige 26/22.0 leather strap bracelet secured by a stainless steel tang clasp. The sandwich dial features a clean design and is topped with baton and Arabic hour markers, central hour and minute hands, small seconds at 9 o'clock, and the Panerai and Luminor Marina logos above and below the central hands. A process that involves layering a luminous disc under the dial stencil gives the "Sandwich" dial its intriguing nickname and offers a bright, even glow. At the heart of this newer preowned Panerai beats a calibre P.3001 self-winding movement with a Glucydur® balance, an Incabloc® anti-shock device, and an impressive 3-Day power reserve.
