The novel idea gave the wearer a clear view of the movement inside and each passing hour, hence the name "Hour Vision." Ref. 431.33.41.22.06.001 also sports the caliber 8601, one of the first mass-production Omega movements to feature the Co-Axial escapement. Innovations aside, the De Ville Hour Vision is a striking watch featuring a classy 41mm case surrounded by a smooth bezel, a sophisticated black leather strap, and a striking two-zone anthracite dial with a month and date mechanism.
