The IWC ref. 3714 is a testament to the enduring style of the Portugieser model. Released in the 1990's, the Portugieser has undergone very few changes, save for a few small updates such as new dial colors. The ref. 3714 is characterized by a style that is just as bold as it is minimal. The round case is framed by a thin bezel, allowing the dial to take center stage. Chronograph functions can be accessed via sleek side pushers and modest center counters. A Tachymeter ring lines the outer dial and is accompanied by sophisticated yellow gold Arabic hour markers and dagger-shaped hands. Yellow gold is the perfect complement to the dark dial, creating a statement piece that is prepared to stand the test of time.
