Pre-owned Cartier Santos 100 ref W200737G (2008) commemorates 100 years of the Santos, a watch initially developed in 1904 for renowned aviation trailblazer Alberto Santos-Dumont. At its release, the watch was the first modern men's wristwatch and among the first official pilot's watches. With so much prestige and provenance, it's no wonder why Cartier would choose to celebrate its centennial via a special collection. It follows a similar design code as other Santos watches, featuring a square-shaped case with gently rounded corners, a bezel decorated with visible screw heads, and a Roman numeral dial. The faceted crown is decorated with a blue cabochon, and the case is paired with a flat-link bracelet with screws to match the bezel, creating the distinctive aesthetic for which the collection is known.
The watch looked nice in pictures, but was even better in person. For a pre-owned Cartier watch, it almost looks new.
