Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore
What is the difference between the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and the Royal Oak Offshore? The Royal Oak came first in the 1970s as the brainchild of the innovative designer Gerald Genta. Its unique design features an octagonal screw bezel and an integrated bracelet inspired by diving helmets. The Offshore came to market just in time to celebrate the Royal Oak's 20th anniversary featuring a fresher, more functional design. The first and most noticeable difference is that the Offshore is larger. It also boasts a chronograph movement and coordinating Tachymeter scale surrounding the dial.
