Vintage Watch Condition Examination
This Rolex watch is in vintage condition showing normal signs of wear for the age. The case is in great condition with some scratches and wear, it has been polished. The caseback has some wear and marks, and shows signs of being opened around the edge. The bezel is in great condition with some wear, the finish is still strong. The numbers between both sets of lugs are visible with some scratches/ wear. The hallmark on the back of the 11 o'clock lug shows signs of polishing, but is visible. The "radial" finish dial is in great condition and has developed patina/ fine spotting throughout. The radium luminous dot markers and lume in the hands has developed patina and darkened. Some plots show signs of degradation. The hands have developed patina/ wear and have some scratches. The 14k USA bracelet is in great condition with some wear and stretch which is common for this style bracelet. The bracelet appears to be a later replacement and matches the watch case very well.

Not to mention those lovely Dauphine-style hands that add to the uniqueness of this vintage Rolex. In addition to those features, this example is cased in solid 14k gold with a matching 14k gold Jubilee bracelet. The movement on this watch is stamped "ROW" indicating it was made for the US market. Many gold watches made for the US Market were 14k, so it makes sense that the case is 14k and has a USA 14k bracelet. We love it when these little details line up!
