Vintage Watch Condition Examination:
This GMT is in great, attractive vintage condition consistent with age. The case is in good condition with normal signs of wear. The blue-back service bezel is in excellent condition with light wear; the colors have remained vibrant. The Mark IV matte dial is in attractive condition with light patina and a paint chip on the edge at the 8 o'clock. The lume on the dial has developed patina and aged to a striking mustard yellow color. The hands have developed patina and lume in the hands are close to matching the lume on the dial, a bit darker which is not uncommon. The Oyster bracelet is in great condition with normal signs of wear and a bit of stretch between the links.
Description: Vintage Rolex GMT-Master 1675 Pepsi
The GMT Master is Rolex’s signature pilot’s watch, complete with dual-time capabilities. It came to market in 1955, with ref. 1675 following shortly after in 1959. It’s one of the most sought-after vintage Rolex watches on the secondary market because it’s instantly recognizable with its 24-hour bezel and dedicated GMT hand. The Rolex 1675 was also notably the first GMT Master to use crown guards.
This circa 1973 example is in overall lovely, attractive condition; it has that classic "Pepsi" GMT vibe with its vibrant "Pepsi" bezel and striking yellow lume color. This watch has what collectors refer to as a Mark 4 dial and the defining characteristic of this is the tall coronet and the placement of the "M" in "Master" over the "C" in chronometer, it lines up to the center of the “C.”

Well represented watch in excellent condition. Super fast shipping. My second purchase from Bobs but not my last. Their watches seem to be in better condition than many of the others I’ve seen online.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.

I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
