The Sigma symbol at the bottom of the dial signifies the use of white gold indices and hands on a stainless steel watch. This feature set is unmistakably vintage, making this Datejust a popular collector's item among preowned Rolex enthusiasts. The ref. 1600 was initially waterproof up to 300 meters and runs on a calibre 1570 Perpetual movement, ensuring many more years of accurate readings.
