used Rolex Sea Dweller Deep Sea Model 116660
The first Rolex Deepsea was introduced under reference 116660 in 2008 and brought with it an incredible depth rating of up to 12,800 feet. Similar to its predecessor the Sea-Dweller, the case on this ref. 116660 is outfitted with a Helium Escape Valve that allows the gasses that accumulate within the case to properly escape. The case also makes use of the brand's Triplock screw-down crown with three sealed zones, a thicker sapphire crystal, and a lighter-weight Titanium screw-down case back. The main feature that allows the Deepsea to maintain its incredible depth rating is the addition of an innovative Ring Lock System. As a newer preowned Rolex, the case also boasts a ceramic Cerachrom unidirectional bezel as well as a maxi dial topped with highly visible luminous markers and Mercedes hands. Measuring 44mm in diameter and under 18mm thick, this diver will appeal to anyone who seeks an impressive statement piece.
