Rolex air-king 114200
The story goes, the Air-King was developed by Hans Wilsdorf shortly after hearing that the British Royal Air Force pilots preferred their own Rolex wristwatches over the timepieces issued to them by the military. So, to honor their brand loyalty, Wilsdorf released the Air-Series, which included the now-iconic Air King. In addition to featuring a straightforward design set, the Air-King also boasts an attractive, entry-level price that falls within most collectors' budgets. Reference 114200 is a newer-model Air-King, complete with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, engraved rehaut, and contemporary silver dial.
