This Tudor Sub is in overall great, attractive condition. The case is in good condition with normal signs of wear. The bezel is in great condition with light wear and patina; the pip has aged nicely complimenting the lume on the dial. The dial is in overall attractive condition and have developed some patina/ dark small areas of patina that can be hard to notice depending on lighting. The lume on the dial and in the hands has aged to a lovely creamy color. The hands have developed patina. The folded Oyster bracelet is in good condition with normal wear and stretch between the links.
These Tudor Submariner ref. 79090s were offered with either blue or black dials with matching bezels. This example is the latter with a classic black dial and black bezel. 1990s Tudor Submariners offer a great value and have a nice blend of modern and vintage characteristics. Tudor still used folded link bracelets, acrylic crystals and non-white gold surrounds on the dials into the 1990s. In addition to those, these Tudor Subs show the depth rating with "Meters first" which gives another nod to vintage Submariners. These features give the watch a vintage look while the quickset date adds some modern convenience.
