Tudor introduced the Tudor Black Bay reference 79220B shortly after the Black Bay came to market in 2012. Referred to as the Black Bay Blue, this particular reference is characterized by a blue bezel, white metal accents on the dial, and white script. The Black Bay Blue is a "cooler" variation when compared to its predecessor which offered darker accents such as a burgundy dial and yellow gold accents. Collectors-in-the-know will appreciate the use of Tudor's signature "Snowflake" hands on the dial. This newer reference is also accompanied by highly visible lume set against a black dial for an easy reading. You can take the Tudor 79220B as far as 200 meters below the surface of the sea, thanks to a waterproof screw-down crown. A sapphire crystal and stainless steel construction further enhance its durability for underwater use as well as everyday wear.
