Pre-owned Tudor Black Bay ref 79230 was released in 2016, introducing several noteworthy upgrades to the immensely popular collection. For starters, the movement was upgraded from the outsourced ETA movement to the in-house caliber MT5602 with a longer 70-hour power reserve, compared to the ETA caliber with a 38-hour power reserve. Additionally, the dial is now decorated with the Tudor Shield instead of the older-style rose logo. Upgrades aside, this Tudor bears all the usual vintage-inspired BB design elements, including that large crown without modern guards, chamfered lugs, and a gilt-style dial. It offers collectors a lot of value in the $5,000 and under bracket.
