Pre-owned Rolex Yacht-Master II ref 116680 (2013) came to market in 2013, marking the first time the regatta chronograph had been made of stainless steel. Previously, it was only available in precious metal. With this model, Rolex opened up the collection to a broader range of Rolex enthusiasts, making it one of the most sought-after iterations of the Yacht II. Unfortunately, Rolex discontinued the collection entirely in 2024. However, we have a handsome earlier production example for sale here today in excellent secondhand condition. It notably features the original dial layout decorated with blued applied hour markers and straight hands, which Rolex would eventually replace with sportier Mercedes-style hands and silvered hour markers. These small details make it such a thrill to collect the Yacht-Master 2.
