This Rolex watch is in overall vintage condition with light surface wear to the case. Hour hands show light patina due to natural exposure.
Rolex Oyster Precision 6425
The Rolex Oyster Precision is one of the few models produced by the famous luxury watchmaker with a hand-wound movement. While the ref. 6426 doesn't run on a Perpetual movement, it still upholds the famous accuracy of the Rolex brand, which is distinguished by the text "Precision" on the dial. It also includes Rolex's strong Oyster case, which once promised water-resistance up to 100 meters. This feature has protected the movement well over the years for a reading that you can continue to rely on several decades later. The ref. 6426 also includes a stainless steel finish, a stunning machine-turned bezel, and a matching silver dial adorned with arrowhead hour markers and luminous plots on a warm patina. This feature set is indicative of a vintage Rolex and is a prized find on the secondary market.

This is a watch from the mid-1960s and a joy to look at and to hold. Slim and light, it differs from my other watches which are all automatics. This watch is hand wound, no date complication, and no letters or numbers for the markers. Absolutely clean and sleek looking. Engine turned bezel. I am very happy to have this Rolex and it was affordable, too.
