This Rolex watch is in great, honest vintage condition. The case is in good condition with some scratches and wear. The caseback has a couple marks and spots of wear. The bezel insert is a later, blue back service replacement. The bezel insert is in great condition with some wear and scratches; the colors have remained vibrant. The service dial is in attractive condition and has developed light patina. The tritum lume has aged to an attractive pale yellow color. The hour, minutes and GMT hands are in great condition and are later luminova service replacements; these will still glow because of the luminova luminous material. The seconds hand is tritium and has developed patina and shows a bit of wear/ cracking in the lume. The later Oyster bracelet is in great condition with a little stretch between the links.
The Rolex 1675 enjoyed a long production run, spanning from the late 1950s until the 1980s. Its massive success also lead to numerous variations, including either a glossy or matte dial, a two-tone or all-black bezel, and either a Jubilee or Oyster bracelet. The watch is circa 1966 and it underwent multiple services where the dial, hands, bezel, bracelet were all updated.
