Pre-owned Rolex Datejust OysterQuartz ref 17014 (1995) is a product of what the watchmaking community refers to as the "Quartz Crises." During this time, the Swiss watchmaking industry experienced a significant shift from mechanical watches to those powered by a Quartz movement. The OysterQuartz was Rolex's answer to the crises. It features classic Rolex design but is powered by a Rolex calibre Quartz movement. The ref. 17014 resembles the Datejust with an identical dial. What sets it apart is an angular case and an integrated bracelet. This example is presented in stainless steel and 18k white gold and features a classy white dial.
