The Bob’s Watches team deals with Rolex and other luxury watches every single day – whether we’re pricing them, getting them ready to ship, photographing them, or writing about them. Yet, we never quite get tired of watches. And while many of us wear our personal favorites to work, the holiday party is that time of year when we can all flex a little. Here are just some of the Rolex watches spotted on our team’s wrist during this year’s holiday party.
Rolex Day-Date 40
We bet even old Saint Nick would put this Everose and green Rolex President on his list. Actually, we bet just about everyone would jot this one down too. What we love about this Day-Date is the modern twist on this classic timepiece known for gracing the wrists of Presidents, world leaders, and celebrities alike. The dial is that wonderful olive green and the dressy, elegant Everose gold makes this already opulent watch feel just totally indulgent. And that’s a great part of the holidays, isn’t it?
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore
Speaking of holiday indulgences, the Royal Oak Offshore is definitely one of them. While it isn’t a Rolex, this Audemars Piguet definitely deserves a spot on our list. As one of the most iconic and celebrated timepieces for its dashing and bold looks, this sporty white and black reference was clearly a highlight of the party. This watch has everything you want out of a Royal Oak Offshore, from that octagonal case that will withstand up to 1k foot depths to that bold internal diving scale. You can bet we couldn’t stop talking about that Mega Tapisserie dial too.
Rolex Submariner
Would it really be a Bob’s Watches party without a Submariner? You’d be pretty hard-pressed to not even find one here on a regular workday. So, it’s no surprise we saw a few grace us at the holiday party. That’s because not only do our customers love a good Submariner, but our staff is also pretty obsessed with Rolex’s iconic dive watch. Whether we’re wearing them on a Monday, to happy hour after work, or out adventuring on the weekends, the Rolex Submariner is the perfect reliable, handsome companion. This classic here – with a black dial and matching black bezel – can (and will) be worn by our staff for just about any occasion.
Rolex Daytona
We don’t get a lot of snow down here in Southern California, so this cool stainless steel and snow-white Daytona 116520 was a welcomed nod to the traditionally cold and icy holiday season. What’s great about this Daytona reference is just how versatile it is. You can see here it has been easily dressed down with a flannel, but details like that bright white face and polished stainless steel bezel also make it easy to dress up a bit too. Plus, you can never really go wrong with a Rolex, let alone a Daytona.
Rolex Oyster Perpetual
The Oyster Perpetual is the perfect classy companion to the Bob’s Watches Holiday party simply because there’s nothing not to like. This watch has a beautiful and shimmering silver dial, modern accents like Arabic numerals at 3, 6, and 9, and a smooth bezel that reflects the light without being showy. There’s more than meets the eye here, too. Not only does the polished stainless steel case keep this watch handsomely down to earth, but it also boasts an impressive 100-meters of water resistance.
Rolex Lady Datejust
It’s hard to think of a watch more timeless and versatile than the two-toned Lady Datejust. Dress it up or down and you’re bound to look good. But what we love about this one is how the little details really elevate this watch to a new level. While the stainless steel case and bracelet links provide durability and contrast, the 18k yellow gold fluted bezel and center links of the Jubilee bracelet really make this watch shine. There’s also that matching champagne dial which totally puts it over the top. Just a classic showstopper.
