Finding the Model Number on a Rolex Watch

Rolex has many different model numbers, or reference numbers for each model watch it makes. For example, a Rolex Datejust has the following model, or reference, numbers that uniquely identify each model:

Finding this number is easy. Just remove the band or bracelet at the twelve o’clock side and look for the numbers inscribed on the case as shown below.

Rolex Model Number on Watch Case — The Model number can be found between the lugs at 12 o’clock.
