The Rolex GMT-Master II series received a major update in 2005 when the brand’s original pilot’s watch celebrated its 50th anniversary. Like the original “Kermit” Submariner, the new ref. 126610LV features a black dial with a green bezel, but now the insert is crafted from green Cerachrom (just like the “Hulk”) rather than anodized aluminum. With its new 41mm case, this is also the largest green Submariner available and its Cal. 3235 movement includes all of the brand’s latest and greatest technologies such as the Chronergy escapement and Paraflex shock absorbers.
