No sleep for Breitling at Baselworld this year – the Swiss luxury brand with an impressive aeronautical heritage brought forth six new models at the exposition including the super cool Breitling Navitimer Rattrapante.
Navitimer Rattrapante
The Navitimer Rattrapante created to showcase the Breitling watch complex timepiece with a new split-second Caliber B03 chronograph movement, designed and developed completely in-house. The special model Navitimer will be available in two versions: stainless steel or an exclusive 250-piece red gold limited edition with a bronze-colored dial. The Navitimer was itself an evolution of the 1942 Breitling Chronomat with its signature slide rule bezel.
Breitling Avenger Hurricane Military
Next up is the new Breitling Avenger Hurricane Military, an “extreme” chronograph with a stealthy black case, aeronautical-type dial and self-winding Manufacture Breitling caliber powering an 24-hour display, issued in a 1,000 piece limited edition. This Breitling Avenger model offers a 12-hour version that is also made of ultralight, ultra-sturdy “Breitlight,” which the brand is calling a world first, featuring a yellow or black dial and the high-performance Manufacture Breitling Caliber 01. It’s appearance is very similar to the 24-Hour but those in the know will recognize the more expensive model. You might even be able to call it a brother to the Colt used at the Red Bull Air Race for its attributes in weight and sturdiness.
Superocean Heritage II
The handsome Superocean Heritage II meanwhile is a new take on the brand’s Superocean Heritage collection, dedicated to modern-day explorers, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. It is also being offered as a https://www.breitling.com/en/models/superocean-heritage/superocean-heritage-46/chronograph with a black or “tropical” brown dial. And the last two models we previewed for you earlier this year: the limited edition Breitling for Bentley Supersports B55, celebrate the launch of the Bentley Continental Supersports; and the Breitling Colt Skyracer, named after the plane now flying under Breitling colors in the 2017 Red Bull Air Race.
