The first generation of 41mm Datejust watches was powered by a 31-jewel calibre 3136 Perpetual movement, which beats at a rate of 28,800 bph and offers anti-magnetic technology, self-winding, and a COSC rating. Singularly reliable, the calibre 3136 will provide a lifetime of reliable readings. The ref. 116334 is widely sought-after on the preowned Rolex market for its larger case diameter and versatile stainless steel and white gold metal finish. The case wears on a flat-link Oyster bracelet with polished center links and a secure Oysterclasp. The case is also equipped with a Twinlock screw-down crown, which is screwed into the Monobloc middle case to offer waterproofness up to 100 meters. The white dial adds a sophisticated flair and displays the time via luminous baton hour markers and central sweep hands.
