This movement replaced the caliber 3000, bringing with it a full balance bridge and a larger Breguet overcoil. These later-production models also feature improved Super-LumiNova on the dial, like the Rolex 14000M for sale here. Other features include a desirable all-silver design pairing a stainless steel finish with a matching silver dial. The time is displayed via traditional stick indices and hands. These models were always meant to be entry-level Rolexes, initially developed by the brand in honor of Bristh Royal Airforce pilots who were known to wear their personal Rolex Oyster watches over their military-issued timepieces.
