The composite material features compressed layers of carbon fibre that are fused together with a polymer material called PEEK and high heat. The result is a distinctive black finish that is lighter than titanium and very resistant to corrosion. The sleek material is made even cooler with bright blue hour markers, hands, and text. As a Submersible model, ref. PAM 1616 also features a case rated waterproof up to 300 meters/1,000 feet, an oversized crown guard, and a uni-directional bezel calibrated to 60 minutes.
