This vintage Omega watch is in overall excellent, honest condition with some signs of wear and age. The case is in great condition with some scratches and light nicks. The double beveled edge on the caseback is still clearly visible. The hippocampus engraving on the caseback shows some wear, but it clearly visible. The crystal is signed with an Omega symbol in the center. The "dot over 90" bezel has faded to a dark grey color throughout with wear scratches and around the edges. The stepped dial is in great condition with light patina. The hour markers have developed patina and have aged to a lovely beige color. The lume in the hands have developed patina and are a bit lighter than the lume on the dial. The lume in the minute hand has a couple of spots with missing lume. The applied Omega logo has developed light patina. The bracelet is in good condition and has some scratches and signs of wear throughout. The elastic part of the bracelet on one side has a little space between a couple of links and on the other side it remains together.
The Omega Speedmaster is a watch that needs no introduction. First launched in 1957 as a chronograph wristwatch intended for the automotive racing crowd, the Speedmaster cemented its place in watchmaking history when it became the first watch worn on the surface of the moon in 1969. Flight-qualified by NASA for all manned space travel, the Omega Speedmaster still holds the distinction of being the only watch that is certified for both spaceflight and EVA (spacewalks).
Among all the various Speedmaster references that have existed throughout history, it is without a doubt the early examples fitted with Caliber 321 movements that are considered to be the most rare and desirable among collectors. Additionally, among these, it is the models with straight lugs, such as this ref. 105.003 "Ed White" Speedmaster from 1965 that are the most coveted due to having an appearance that immediately separates them from all later Speedmaster generations.
The reference 105.003 was first launched in 1964 and represents the last of the straight-lug ‘Pre-Professional’ Speedmaster models. By 1969, Omega had made the switch to the twisted-lug style of cases, and the brand continues to use this case style on the modern Speedmaster watches that it sells today. The Omega Speedmaster ref. 105.003 was also the watch of choice for many astronauts on the Gemini missions and one was worn during the first American spacewalk, resulting in its now-iconic "Ed White" nickname.
The ref. 105.003 holds a special place in the history of the Omega Speedmaster, as it was the exact model that underwent rigorous NASA testing in 1964 and became officially flight-certified on March 1st, 1965. This particular example is in excellent, honest overall condition, complete with its lovely faded ‘Dot-Over-Ninety’ bezel (DON bezel), flat-foot crown, and flat link 1035 bracelet completing the look and feel of this "Ed White."
I had to take a second look when I first noticed this watch. This is currently the centerpiece of my collection. Whenever I wear it out it always becomes a conversation peice.
I couldn't wait to receive this watch. I now have a reason to post on Instagram every Tuesday, haha.
Haven't been a collector for long, but this has always been my dream watch! So happy to finally own one. What makes this experience more amazing, the watch arrived on a night of a full moon! *mind blown*
I Love the look and feel of this watch. Happy that I purchased it.
Timeless look that can be worn formally or informally. I love that it came with so much more than just the watch. My daily wear was a Breitling Superocean, but I think this is my new one.
Bob's description of the watch as "excellent" was spot on The watch was a 2000 model, but looked brand new. Bob's customer service is EXCELLENT

The folks at Bobs we’re very responsive and even proactive in checking to see if everything was to my satisfaction. I needed an additional link or two and they sent them FedEx gratis. Super good people and the watch is fantastic.
Had a great experience with Bob's watches and my salesman, Max. Even through some uncontrollable circumstances, Max and Bob's remained true to their words and delivered a beautiful watch that makes me very happy. Highly recommended
Dear Bob's, This is a watch that sold out on day 1 of being issued. From time to time I would see it on Ebay. In all instances well over the initial price of $6500 US. Between the price and the potential condition issues, I was never able to pull the trigger. When I saw the watch of my dreams and read the details, I pulled the trigger. I knew it would be in like new condition because I sold Bob's one of my Rolex watches recently. The price paid was fair and Bob's was extremely picky about the condition. By the way, the price I paid for my new Omega was slightly less than the initial offering price. A price that represented an exceptional value. Thank You Bob's PS it arrived in perfect condition the following morning at 8:45
I saw the Omega Speedmaster Reduced on the website and it was described as excellent condition. Upon receiving the watch it was absolutely nothing less than that. I will recommend Bobs Watches to anyone looking for a high quality watch in the future. I can’t wait to buy another.
I was looking to buy a new Omega Speedmaster 145.022 but decided on this pre-owned Omega because the price was terrific. Very happy with this purchase.

Beautiful watch. Love the combination of polished and brushed stainless. This watch can be dressed up or down; excellent choice for those t-shirt days at the lake or with a suit for the office.
The watch is super nice perfect size 39.7mm.great for collection.I recommend Pre-Owned watch from Bob’s
I've wanted a Moonwatch for over 20 years since I saw one in a space magazine in elementary school. I finally own one and couldn't be happier. Using the NATO strap until I can get several links removed from the metal band, but oddly enough I actual really like the NATO strap...
