One of them being the impressive Oyster case, which was unveiled in 1926 as the first waterproof case designed for wristwatches. This revolutionary design combines a system of screwing the bezel and caseback to the middle case along with the screw-down crown to create a protective waterproof seal. This helps to protect the intricate perpetual movement from the depths of up to 330 feet. The design of this reference 76183 Oyster Perpetual features lumed baton and Arabic hour markers on the dial and Yellow Rolesor, a combination of stainless steel and 18 karat yellow gold. Its 3-piece Oyster bracelet adds to the sleek design of this beautiful watch.
