Pre-owned Ladies Rolex Cocktail Chameleon ref 8070 (1954) is a lesser-known, albeit incredibly fascinating, vintage Rolex model. Initially, these watches came with several different strap options, allowing the wearer to easily change the look of their watch by sliding the straps through a slot on the case back to suit any outfit or occasion, hence the name Chameleon. As with most things Rolex, the collection eventually expanded to include many variations, from those with solid gold changeable straps to the elegant and perfectly retro leather example you see here. It looks like any other Rolex Cocktail, including the petite round case and minimalist dial, but with the added strap slot on the back. This model is sold with a fashion-forward green leather Rolex strap.
