Pre-owned Cartier Santos 100 ref W20072X7 hails from one of the most iconic two-tone collections in watchmaking. Cartier released the Santos in 1978, modeled after the similarly-shaped Santos Dumont. For the first time in the company's history, the watch incorporated steel. Two-tone watches would become massively popular in the years that followed, and it is widely believed that the Cartier Santos was among the first to prominently feature steel with gold. Like any other watch from the collection, the square-shaped case is outfitted with a bezel secured by visible screw heads. Furthermore, it features a sophisticated leather strap, a faceted crown set with a lovely cabochon, and a Roman numeral dial with sword-shaped hands.
