Pre-owned Breitling Superocean Automatic 42 ref A17375E71G1A1 (2023) hails from the newer generation of dive watches developed by the brand just a few years ago, modeled after the cult-favorite Breitling Slow Motion watch from the 1960s. It swaps the old Superocean dial furniture for chunkier, more squared-off hour markers and hands, similar to the Slow Motion model, and even features a similar minute ring. These features were originally developed for optimal legibility while diving and now lend themselves to the distinctive aesthetic of the modern lineup. Other features include a lustrous uni-directional ceramic bezel, 300 meters of water resistance, a cambered sapphire crystal, and the mighty Breitling caliber 17 automatic movement. The steel finish, handsome blue bezel, and creamy white dial make this model particularly collection-worthy.
