It earned the moniker "8" after the Huit Aviation Department, established by Breitling to produce on-board chronographs for pilots, which delivered 8 days of power reserve. "Huit" translates to "eight" in French. With the mighty Breitling caliber B01 at the helm, the watch offers self-winding, reliable chronograph functionality, and an impressive 70-hour power reserve. The collection has a very distinctive aesthetic, unlike any other Navi. The bezel is plain, while the sharp black dial is decorated with contrasting sub-dials and vintage-inspired painted Arabic numeral hour markers. This model sports a 43mm stainless steel case, a leather strap, and a self-winding mechanical movement.
