Even the distinctive shape of each of the hour markers and the broad hands is inspired by the inaugural model. At the same time, Breitling has incorporated modern watchmaking elements into the watch, effortlessly marrying the brand's past with its present. For example, the concave bezel is set with more resilient ceramic, the hour markers are filled with longer last lume, and a cambered, glare-proof sapphire crystal covers the case. Furthermore, this model is powered by the mighty caliber B10, an in-house mechanical movement with self-winding and a 42-hour power reserve.
