At the time, it was the latest expression of the Chronomat and featured a larger and more robust case than previous models. It was appropriately named the "Evolution." At the same time, it holds fast to many of the collection's hallmark design elements, such as the rider tab bezel, onion-shaped crown, and chronograph movement. The watch has an impressive 300-meter depth rating, with a uni-directional 60-minute diver's bezel and luminescent hands to match. The result is a purpose-driven watch with incredible underwater functionality and unmatched wrist presence. The example you see here sports dressier leather strap and a striking blue dial with contrasting white sub-dials, Arabic numeral hour markers, and a 3 o'clock date display.
