Pre-owned Rolex GMT-Master II ref 116718 (2007) is an anniversary model released in 2005 to commemorate the original GMT Master's 50th anniversary. When it was released, ref. 116718 marked the first instance of a ceramic bezel GMT. Additionally, it was initially only available in yellow gold and with the lustrous lacquered green anniversary dial you see here. Rolex would later add a black dial option to the collection, followed by a two-tone model, and later all steel. As you can imagine, this model is incredibly important to the collection's history, particularly the original green dial models. As a product of the first generation of ceramic bezel GMTs, ref. 116718 also features the caliber 3186 Perpetual movement and the older-style Super-LumiNova luminescent material on the dial. The case sports a sapphire crystal, an anti-reflective Cyclops lens, a Triplock waterproof screw-down crown, and a modern engraved rehaut.
