In the early 2000's, Rolex unveiled a larger 41mm Day-Date and shortly after that in 2015, Rolex also introduced the 40mm Day-Date reference 228238 that we have listed here today. A common pairing to the Day-Date case is the three-link Oyster bracelet which is celebrated for its semi-circular links and nearly invisible hidden Crownclasp. This newer reference boasts sleek stick-like Roman hour markers and matching central hands. The day and date apertures are prominently displayed on the dial and protected by the addition of a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a waterproof Twinlock screw-down crown.
