Rolex Oyster Perpetual 14223
Rolex patented the Oyster case in 1926. At the time, this invention was revolutionary, offering a case that was hermetically sealed and completely waterproof. Today, almost every Rolex watch is built with an Oyster case. The reference 14223 that is for sale here today is from the Oyster Perpetual line. In addition to offering the iconic waterproof case, the reference 14223 also features a perpetual movement. The movement itself relies on the movement of the wearer's wrist to power itself and must be wound if not worn regularly. The two-tone reference that is presented here today is a classic variation of the Oyster Perpetual watch. In addition to the Oyster case, this men's Rolex also features a fluted bezel, a three-piece link Oyster bracelet, and a champagne dial topped with yellow gold indices and hands.
