Pre-owned Rolex Day-Date 36 ref 118239 (2005) is a coveted gold and diamond Rolex Presidential. The case, fluted bezel, and iconic three-link bracelet are all cased in flawless 18k yellow gold - the perfect design for collectors who appreciate the luxury of an all-gold watch but prefer a slightly more understated aesthetic than yellow gold. Additionally, this model displays the time on a sharp black dial via baguette and brilliant-cut diamonds hand-set into white gold surrounds. Dual apertures display the date at 3 o'clock and the day spelled out in full at 12 o'clock, earning this coveted dress watch's name, Day-Date. Ref. 118239 was an early example of the 6-digit series. It sports a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a Twinlock waterproof screw-down crown, and the self-winding caliber 3155 Perpetual movement with a Double Quickset function.
