Rolex released the modern Air-King ref. 114234 in 2007 alongside references 114200 and 114210. The only Air-King to offer a white gold fluted bezel, this ref. 114234 will be of particular interest to preowned Rolex collectors who seek a White Rolesor Air-King. As a newer addition to the brand's catalog, the case features Rolex's newer and broader lugs, engraved rehaut, and COSC certified perpetual movement. In 2014, the ref. 114234 was discontinued along with the rest of the Air-King line, which Rolex would eventually revive a few years later alongside a sportier variation of the iconic pilot's watch.
