Rolex Daytona Stainless Steel 116520 Black Dial
Before the release of the Daytona ref. 116520 in 2000, the brand outsourced the movements that powered their iconic chronograph. These movements were known as the Zenith "El Primero" calibre 4030 and were discontinued and replaced by the Rolex calibre 4130 that powers the ref. 116520 that you see here today. Backed by the world's most iconic luxury brand, the calibre 4130 is singularly reliable and will produce incredibly precise readings on and off the race track. The ref. 116520 is also the only modern stainless steel Daytona with a metal bezel, a feature that has since been replaced by ceramic variations. If you seek the aesthetic of an all-steel Daytona that is also powered by an in-house movement, this preowned Rolex is the watch to purchase.
