Pre-Owned Rolex Daytona 16523 - Black Dial
The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ref. 16523 is among the last 5-digit references to run on an "El Primero" calibre 4030 movement. The calibre 4030 was produced by Zenith and has since been replaced by the newer calibre 4130, which is produced entirely in-house. The ref. 16523 is a handsome two-tone variation of the iconic Daytona Chronograph. The case measures a traditional 40mm in diameter and wears on a flat-link Oyster bracelet with polished center links and a secure Oysterlock clasp. A 400-kilometer Tachymeter bezel accompanies the case and can be adjusted by the wearer to calculate driving speeds of up to 400 kilometers per hour. Together with the stopwatch functions within the movement, the Daytona is the ideal companion on or off the race track.
