Description: Omega Speedmaster Apollo XVII Limited Edition
Pre-owned Omega Speedmaster Ref 311.30.42.30.03.001 (2018). The famous Speedy was the first wristwatch to go to the Moon. Omega has released countless iterations of the famous chronograph since the historic first lunar landing in 1969, including the striking "Apollo XVII," developed to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the final Moon landing in 1972. Charming details include “05:34 GMT” printed on the dial, acknowledging the time NASA astronaut Cernan took his last step on the Moon. Additionally, the register at 9 o'clock is decorated with the God Apollo in chrome. In true Omega fashion, the case back is engraved with the text "“45th ANNIVERSARY” and “Limited Edition” and features an embossed Apollo XVII patch, “APOLLO XVII” with additional text reading, “a tribute to Gene Cernan .”
The Omega 311.30.42.30.03.001 boasts a very desirable steel and blue design set featuring a handsome blue polished ceramic bezel with a Ceragold™ Tachymeter scale and a matching blue ceramic bezel decorated with 18K yellow gold and SuperLuminova.
