Omega Seamaster Ploprof 1200M
The Omega Ploprof watch collection is a professional series dive watch distinguished by a polarizing and somewhat unusual case shape and water resistance up to 1,200 meters. The name "Ploprof" is a combination of "Plongeur Professionnel," the French phrase for "Professional Diver." Reference 227.90.55.21.99.001 mirrors the original Seamaster 600 that would one day become the Ploprof with a similar orange arrow hand and a similar mesh-style "Shark-Proof" bracelet. This watch is reimagined for the modern collector to also feature lightweight grade 5 titanium, long-lasting Super-LumiNova, flat scratch-resistant sapphire with an anti-reflective treatment, and the Master Chronometer caliber 8912 self-winding movement with anti-magnetism up to 15,000 gauss and a 60-hour power reserve.
