The Omega Seamaster ref 232.30.44.22.03.001 (2016) honors the brand's storied partnership with the GoodPlanet Foundation, backed by a dedication to conserving the environment and featuring unique design elements, such as a bright orange GMT scale and matching orange aluminum 24-hour hand. At the same time, ref. 232.30.44.22.03.001 follows the same design blueprint as the rest of the Planet Ocean collection because it also features a Helium Escape Valve, water-resistant up to 600 meters/2,000 feet, and a robust case. The bi-directional bezel on this model is outfitted with a lustrous polished blue ceramic insert to match the blue dial. Omega has also equipped this model with the Co-Axial caliber 8605 self-winding mechanical movement with a convenient 60-hour power reserve.
