Longines Heritage Column Wheel Chronograph
The Longines Heritage Pulsometer ref. L2.801.4.23.2, released in 2015, celebrates many facets of innovative Longines watchmaking from the 1920s and 1930. Features include an intriguing mono-pusher chronograph with the pusher at the 3-hour marker and dual registers on the handsome lacquered dial. Surrounding the dial is a vibrant red pulsometer scale, which would have been used alongside the chronograph mechanism by medical professionals to measure heart rate. This configuration lends itself to an inherently retro aesthetic reminiscent of a simpler time in horology.
